Important Coach and Manager Information

2007 State High School Soccer Tournament Update:
September 24, 2007

•  Team picture and roster for tournament program:
   - Please send a picture and team roster (electronically would work best) for the tournament program ASAP.  All teams should send team picture and roster, when a team has qualified we can then add them to the program.  We do not want to wait on collecting team information later in the season.  PLEASE send us this information right away so your team gets in the tournament program.  These may be sent to :  Shelly Sutton   PO Box 584, Aberdeen, SD  57401  OR  sutton@abe.midco.net
• T-shirts:
  Tournament t-shirt preorder forms are available on-line from the SD Soccer home page.
• Registration:
  -  Team check-in will be at the soccer complex in the head quarters trailer.
  -  Registration:  All registration will be at the soccer complex in the head quarters trailer.

                    Teams 7-10-Wednesday, October 10 from 11-3

                    Teams 1-6- Wednesday 6-9:00pm or Thursday 7-9:00am

• Hospitality:
  - Rooms will begin being dispersed as teams qualify.  The committee will be contacting you as you qualify to verify your rooming needs.
• Awards:
  - Participation awards will be given out to all teams 1 through 8.
  - Sportsmanship award will be given out to each bracket (4).
• Coaches Meeting/Reception:
  - Coaches meeting and reception will be Friday- October 12 at the Ramada Inn.  Coaches’ reception will start at 6:00pm, coaches meetings will begin at 7:00pm.
• Tournament game time format:
  - We are setting up a 4-time slot format of 9:00 / 11:30 / 2:00 / 4:30.  This is preliminary and may change.
  - Play-in games will be Wednesday, October 10-seed 7 vs 10 @ 1:30 & seed 8 vs 9 @ 4:00.
• Medical:
  - Sports medicine will be on-site for the tournament.
