State High School Toyota Cup Sportsmanship Awards
The State High School Tournament Committee will award a “Good Sportsmanship Trophy” to both a boys and girls team in each tournament division.
Field Marshals, tournament officials and Referees will report to the Committee those teams that, during tournament play, demonstrate either especially good or especially poor sportsmanship.
The Tournament Committee will make its final selection on Friday evening based on the reports received on Thursday and Friday.
The award presentations occur when reporting for individual award ceremony immediately following its last game on Saturday.
CRITERIA

The courtesy and respect a team's players and coaches show toward the opposing team, its players, coaches & spectators.

The courtesy and respect a team's players and coaches show toward referees and tournament officials.

The courtesy and respect a team's spectators show toward others and the positive support they give their own players.

A team's reaction to both its wins and loses.

The number of red & yellow cards a team receives.

Inappropriate dissent by players & coaches.

Inappropriate language on the field.

The positive support team members show each other.

A team's general attitude.
