Four South Dakota teams have received the 2012 US Youth Soccer Midwest

Regional Championship Fair play award. The award is presented in each age division

to a team in recognition of outstanding acts of fair play and sportsmanship

displayed during participation in the US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional

Championships. Teams receiving this award for South Dakota are:

 

Dakota Alliance Black U13 Girls

Dakota Alliance Black U13 Boys

Dakota Alliance Black U15 Boys

SD United Madrid U19 Boys

 

The US Youth Soccer National Championship Series provides more than 10,000

teams from US Youth Soccer's 55 State Associations the opportunity to showcase

their abilities against the best in the nation while emphasizing teamwork,

discipline and fair play. The yearlong competition begins with over 185,000 players

in the US Youth Soccer State Championships.
