State of the Art Sanford Sports Complex The Crossing!
This event serves boys and girls teams (U13-U19), vying to compete for the SDYSA NCS State Cup title. Division winners will be crowned State Cup Champions and attend the Midwest Regional Championships. The NCS State Cup event hosts the highest level of teams in South Dakota. In order to participate, teams must apply to SDYSA for consideration.
Commitment forms for this event can be found below or under the ‘State Championship Series Information’ tab.
This event serves boys and girls teams (U13-U19) vying to compete for the SDYSA Presidents Cup title. Division winners will be crowned State Presidents Cup Champions and attend the Midwest Presidents Cup Competition. The SDYSA Presidents Cup event hosts teams of the level below those of the NCS State Cup event. Teams need to apply to participate.
The SDYSA Prairie Cup now qualifies as a US Youth Soccer League America Festival! This event coincides with both NCS State Cup and State Presidents Cup and serves teams with a desire for a more recreationally based State Tournament experience, and doesn’t require any advancement from the event to a Regional Competition.
The purpose of the Prairie Cup is to create a meaningful state tournament where teams/clubs with varying levels can participate at the appropriate level and challenge to become a state champion. The SDYSA Prairie Cup is for competitive teams only that are registered members of SDYSA. This event is for boys and girls teams between U9-U19.
*The event will have separate divisions for team placement. Here is an example of what constitutes each division.
Gold = Highest competitive level. For teams that participate year round and attend competitive events in and outside of South Dakota.
Silver = Competitive level. For teams that participate year round and attend competitive events in South Dakota.
Bronze = Lowest competitive level.
