We’re excited to announce that South Dakota Youth Soccer Association is partnering
with Soccer Wars, a one-of-a-kind club-neutral, individualized soccer competition
coming to South Dakota September 6th & 7th!

What is Soccer Wars?

Soccer Wars is a high-energy club neutral soccer festival for players ages 8–18,
designed to spotlight individual talent in a competitive, fast-paced, and fun environment.

The weekend event features:
● Goalie Wars – a fast-paced 1v1 competition where goalkeepers face off in
short-field battles, staying constantly engaged with non-stop action. It sharpens
reflexes, shot-stopping, distribution, and decision-making under pressure—all in
a fun, competitive setting designed just for keepers. Top performers qualify for
the national finals, making it both a development tool and a chance to shine.
● Player Wars – Small-sided, fast-paced competition where players rotate teams
each game and earn individual points based on their impact to the teams
success.
● Skill Wars –A skills gauntlet where players race the clock and rack up points in
precision passing, juggling control, dribbling agility, and shooting accuracy to top
the leaderboard.

Players register as individuals, ensuring a neutral and competitive format for all.
